3.PAYMENTS and BILLING
As a Member, you agree to the following benefits and Terms: You must provide us with accurate contact and payment information, including name, shipping address, and credit or debit card number. Please make sure to keep this information up to date at all times. We save your payment information for ease of future shipments and charges. All such personal information is subject to the Privacy Policy. Piacere may add an additional charge to your subscription in the case of worldwide shipment disruption (such as a global pandemic, natural disaster, etc.) when normal shipping methods are not possible. In such cases, Piacere may be required to upgrade your shipping method to a higher class — unless you make a request to opt-out of the shipment upgrade prior to the charge. You are responsible for any fees or charges your issuing bank or credit card provider may charge you. If your payment to us is returned for any reason, we may bill your account again directly and seek payment by another method including a mailed statement. Any account changes made after the last day of each month should not be expected to reflect on the subscription until the following shipping period. In an effort to get boxes to our subscribers as soon as possible, we begin processing shipments prior to the signup cutoff. As a result, all address updates must be made within 48 hours prior to the subscription renewal date (see “Your Subscription Contract” below for renewal date information) to ensure they are correctly reflected on your shipment. Our shipping service does not include the forwarding with your mail to an updated address. Any forwarding fees incurred will not be reimbursed or credited to your subscription. Any amount paid for the boxes and services are final and non-refundable.
4.YOUR SUBSCRIPTION CONTRACT
You acknowledge that your subscription includes initial and recurring payments, and you accept responsibility for all recurring charges prior to cancellation. Your subscription will be automatically renewed at the current subscription rate. To cancel your subscription at any time, please contact info@tamate-bako.comat least 48 hours before your next scheduled renewal date. All subscriptions are renewed on the same day as the signup date. Any changes to your subscription will take effect on the next renewal date. Upon cancellation, you may use your subscription until the end of the current subscription period. Piacere may submit periodic charges (e.g., monthly) without further authorization from you until you provide prior notice of termination. If you cancel your subscription, you will not receive a refund for any portion of the subscription fee paid for the current subscription period. Resuming a subscription will automatically generate an invoice for new orders under your current plan.
5.SHIPPING
Insurance: All boxes that ship with a trackable shipping option are automatically covered by insurance.
Cases covered by insurance:
1.In the case of theft, boxes that are stolen can be replaced in the event that evidence is provided from the shipping company showing that they acknowledge that the box has been misplaced or stolen.
2.Damaged boxes due to natural disasters i.e. fires, floods, hurricanes, etc.
3.Missing or damaged boxes due to mishandling by your local courier.
Please note, boxes that are not received due to an incorrect shipping address, or that are intentionally declined by the subscriber are not eligible for replacement.
Missing or Damaged Items
1.Missing items - this case refers to when your box arrives safely and physically intact, but it is missing one or more of the items listed inside the included booklet.
2.Damaged items - this case refers to when your box arrives safely and physically intact with all items listed in the booklet included but one or more of the items are damaged, or expired in the case of perishable items.
3.All missing or damaged items must be reported within 7 days after you receive your box to qualify for either a replacement or refund based on product availability. If the missing product is available, a replacement will be shipped and a refund will not be considered. You are required to include the evidence outlined below when you submit a report in order for our support team to expedite a resolution:

Damaged items will then be reviewed by a support agent and a replacement or refund will be issued only for damaged products. This does not cover or include damage to the packaging of said item. Blemishes to packaging will not be considered as part of a damaged item.
Returned Boxes Policy - Returned boxes will be reshipped with an additional re-shipping fee, unless the box has been returned due to our own mistake. Boxes that have been returned due to an incorrect shipping address/incomplete shipping address are not eligible for refunds.
This policy can be updated at any time, without prior notice, and is applicable immediately and retroactively for all subscriptions and subscribers.

Allergy information regarding the products we provide is printed on the packaging of each item in Japanese, in accordance with Japanese laws and standards. We do not guarantee that all products are free from allergens. Please consume or use them at your own discretion
7.COPYRIGHT
The technology underlying and all content included on the Site, including but not limited to text, graphics, or code, is protected by copyright as a collective work under Japan and other copyright laws. We do not investigate to determine if such works are accurate nor can we provide assurance that all such works are free of typographical errors. We cannot guarantee that the information displayed on this Site is 100% accurate.
8.USER GENERATED CONTENT
By sharing, submitting, and uploading any of your data, including but not limited to photographs, images, video, music, art, or comments, you grant Piacere a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable, and transferable license to use, reproduce, prepare derivative works of, display, and perform your user data in any legal manner for the benefit of Piacere. You acknowledge and agree that you are solely responsible for all the user data that you make available through Piacere. Accordingly, you represent and warrant that: (1) you have all rights, licenses, consents, and releases necessary to grant Piacere the required rights to disseminate any user data, (2) neither your data nor your posting, uploading, publication, submission, or transmittal of this data or Piacere's use of your uploaded data (or any portion thereof) on, through, or by the means of Piacere will infringe, misappropriate, or violate a third party’s patent, copyright, trademark, trade secret, moral rights, or other intellectual property rights or rights of publicity or privacy or result in the violation of any applicable law or regulation.
